Pic Saint Loup
Pic Saint Loup leans against the first Cévennes foothills in the Garrigues area north of Montpellier. Its summit, at an altitude of 658 m, is marked by a chapel and a cross offering a panorama of the scrubland. Pic Saint Loup, visible from a large part of the Hérault department, is accessible on foot in around 1 hour 15 minutes for those who like hiking.

South
Towards the South, reach the beaches of La Grande Motte, L’Espiguette, Villeneuve les Maguelone or Palavas (between 40 and 60 km).
To the South-East, visit the fortified city of Aigues-Mortes (65 km) and drive to Les Saintes-Maries de la Mer (95 km) for an immersion in the Camargue.
In the South-West, come and discover Frontignan (47 km), Mèze (52 km) and Sète (54 km) around L’Étang de Thau and a little further, Cap D’Agde and its huge water park (87 km ).
And don’t forget the center of Montpellier called L’Écusson, the historic pedestrian heart of the city. (Prefer the tram to get there from the Tram+Park “Occitanie” station)

To the north and west
Towards the West, walk around Lake Salagou (45 km). A visit not to be missed: the village of St Guilhem le Désert (27 km). Don’t hesitate to go up the sumptuous Hérault gorges where many water activities are offered.
The Hérault gorges and its tributaries wind towards the North, offering magnificent landscapes such as the Navacelles cirque (57 km), the Vis waterfalls (32 km)… The Cévennes are very close. Don’t deprive yourself of a hike to Mont Aigoual (69 km).

To the East
In the North-East, discover remarkable sites such as Anduze (52 km), Uzès (80 km), the Pont du Gard (90 km).
Further east, Avignon (113 km) is the crossing point which opens the door to the Alpilles.
